Description
Interactable Door
The goal of this project is to create a Blueprint for doors so
the player will easily interact with. Deliberately the main focus
was to use it for virtual reality functionality, however it is
compatible with other game modes (ex. 3rd person
shooter). It is created to combine and separate two types of
interactions: automatic and manual (Trigger and Grip).
We persuaded to make the project user-friendly and we brought
together more utilities in one source. Having one Blueprint to
cover rotating doors and sliding doors. To make a better player
experience an inertia system has been developed.
The user has a wide range of parameters to have the door open in
his preferred way. We have implemented in two different ways the
setup: a visual one using widgets and an exact one using exposed
variables.
The last version of this product is a beta. However most of the
functionalities can be used like the lock system and the sound
effects. Please refer to the Link_v02 for information of usage of
